It has nowhere near the instant accessibility and appeal of say Sim City 2000 - of course that was the kind of game that could be played on numerous levels depending on your commitment. Sim Isle, on the other hand, appears to require effort from the outset, and juggling the many confounding variables - ecology, industry, development and the like - can be a mentally consuming task.
